Indonesia 'not the solution'

THE Indonesian Government is facing mounting anger in the media and from local politicians over the "Indonesia solution" to asylum seekers trying to come to Australia."We question this concept of an 'Indonesia solution', because if there is an 'Indonesia solution', why is there not an 'Australian solution'?" asked Teuku Faizasyah, the senior Foreign Ministry spokesman.He said it was untenable for Indonesia to accept the thousands of asylum seekers expected to flow through the archipelago in the future."We have to respect what the local government and the local people feel," he said.
